Technical terms aside: this is a way that I have developed to help people get in touch with their anger, process it through their body and voice, and safely express it in community with other people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">I developed this method during my residency time at Hogfish in Portland, Maine in 2024, where I did artistic research around ancestral rage, and how this is expressed through the body, voice, and drum. When I came out publicly as transgender in 2014, I set an example in the opera and classical music industry that has helped pave the way for more trans people to come after me.
